Our Story

IDEA Public Schools believes that every child deserves the opportunity to attend college. Since its inception in 2000, IDEA has transformed from a small school serving 150 students to a national network of tuition-free, Kindergarten-12 public charter schools. Currently, IDEA serves nearly 87,000 college-bound students across 145 schools in Texas and its affiliates, including Louisiana.
