Our Story

The Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force was established in response to the pressing issue of hunger in Idaho, with its first statewide Summit on Hunger and Food Insecurity held in 2006. Founded by Kathy Gardner, the organization unifies efforts across public and private sectors, bringing together leaders to combat hunger comprehensively. Under the leadership of Denise Dixon, the Task Force continues to focus on sustainability, equity, and community empowerment to ensure food security for all Idahoans.
