IAMA Theatre Company was founded in 2007 by a group of passionate young artists in Los Angeles. This dynamic organization is dedicated to producing original works from both emerging and established playwrights, fostering a collaborative ensemble, and delivering theatre that reflects the next generation of theatre-makers.
Since its inception, IAMA has produced over 30 World Premiere, West Coast Premiere, and Los Angeles Premiere productions. The company has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious 2014 LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Award for Best Production of a Play, contributing to the national and global recognition of the L.A. theater community.
