I AM VOICES INC. is a woman, minority, and survivor-led organization established in 2017, dedicated to uplifting the voices of women in South Carolina who have experienced sexual violence, human trafficking, or abuse. Through compassionate support services, the organization empowers women to heal and rebuild their lives, fostering awareness of trauma's impact through partnerships with like-minded organizations.
Since its inception, I AM VOICES has served over 3000 girls and women through various programs, trainings, and workshops. In 2023, 100% of the women served found employment and moved forward to live healthy, empowered lives. The organization has successfully graduated over 72 women from its housing program, helping them regain stability and independence.
Donations are crucial for I AM VOICES as public funding covers less than half of the services needed by the community each year. Individual, corporate, and private foundation donations are essential to support the healing process and provide a safe place for women survivors.
