I AM Family Ministries

Our Story

I AM Family Ministries was founded in response to the dire needs of orphaned children and vulnerable women in Uganda, particularly after the devastating Cholera outbreak and AIDS epidemic in 1999. Inspired by Rev. Ponsiano Lwakatale's personal experiences and his daughter Omega's compassion for a friend in need, this organization was established to provide food, shelter, clothing, education, and parental love to those in need.
