The Hyperion Historical Alliance was founded in 2007 through a conversation between author Didier Ghez and Diane Disney Miller, the daughter of Walt Disney. Officially established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2014, HHA is dedicated to preserving Disney history through member-initiated projects. Members with professional ties to Disney work diligently to identify and secure historically significant materials that are at risk of being lost.
HHA has successfully identified and preserved numerous artworks and documents related to Disney history, including unpublished autobiographies and diaries of prominent Disney figures. These efforts significantly contribute to Disney scholarship and the historical record.
