Our Story

The Huntingdon Valley Library has a rich history dating back to 1871, initially established on Huntingdon Pike. Formed by the Community Club in 1919, the library faced challenges but was revitalized by the Women’s Club of Huntingdon Valley in 1953. In 1961, it became a nonprofit organization, moving to a new facility to better serve the educational, cultural, and recreational needs of Lower Moreland Township residents.

Impact

As a vital resource and information center, the library enriches lives by providing essential educational, cultural, and recreational services.
