Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland
EIN: 34-1810545 · Cleveland, OH
Our Story
The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland was established over 40 years ago by the Interchurch Council of Greater Cleveland in response to cuts in public welfare programs and the national recession. Initially focused on providing emergency food for children, it became an independent organization in 1995, expanding its services to families, men, women, children, and the elderly. In 2018, the organization launched the Hunger Network Food Rescue initiative to further reduce food insecurity while promoting environmental sustainability.
Impact
Every day, the Hunger Network serves thousands of individuals from nearly 100 locations, providing essential emergency food and wellness services to those in need throughout Cuyahoga County.
