Our Story
The Humane Society of Sumner County (HSSC) has been a beacon of hope for abandoned, lost, and displaced animals since 1974. This dedicated organization provides essential services such as temporary shelter, medical care, and vaccinations to ensure the well-being of every animal that comes through its doors. HSSC works tirelessly to reunite lost pets with their guardians and promotes spay and neuter awareness to combat overpopulation. As a private, non-profit organization, HSSC relies solely on the generosity of the community to continue its vital work.
