Our Story

The Human Services Center Mon Valley was established in 1982 by Allegheny County Commissioners to meet the diverse needs of the Mon Valley region. This organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children, adults, and families by providing a wide range of essential services and fostering collaboration among various human service organizations.

Each year, HSCMV serves over 1,000 individuals, acting as a vital bridge between human service organizations and policymakers to uplift the Mon Valley community.
