Founded in 2006 by Dean Cardinale, the Human Outreach Project was inspired by the tragic loss of his Sherpa guide, Ang Pasang, during an Everest expedition. This tragedy ignited a passion to support Ang Pasang's family and led to the establishment of HOP, dedicated to empowering remote communities in Tanzania, Nepal, and Peru through sustainable health and education initiatives.
HOP has successfully implemented programs that enhance health and education for at-risk youth in remote areas. Initiatives like the Kilimanjaro Kids Community and school lunch programs have significantly increased school attendance and provided essential medical care, fostering local economies through sustainable projects.
