Our Story

Founded in 2001 by a dedicated group of Indian Americans in North Carolina's Triangle area, Hum Sub, Inc. was established to share the vibrant and diverse cultural heritage of India with the local community. The founding families organized their first successful event, Basant Bahar, which led to a partnership with the Town of Cary and the inception of the first Cary Diwali, attracting over 2,500 attendees. Since then, Hum Sub has grown in both quality and popularity, becoming a key representative of Indian culture in the region.

Hum Sub has become a staple in the local cultural scene, promoting awareness of Indian social and cultural traditions through annual celebrations and community activities. The organization successfully organizes events that draw thousands of attendees, showcasing the rich heritage of India in the Triangle area.
