The Hugs Project was founded in June 2004 by Ray and Karen Stark in Edmond, Oklahoma, as a heartfelt initiative to ensure that every American service member feels loved and appreciated. This organization sends weekly care packages filled with essential items to deployed troops, providing them with a comforting reminder of home.

With a commitment to supporting over 10,000 deployed troops, The Hugs Project delivers essential supplies and emotional support from home. Additionally, it funds hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries.
