Hudson Haven Dog Rescue began in Jersey City, NJ, with a mission to change the misconceptions surrounding pitbull-type dogs and other bully breeds. From 2014 to 2020, the organization focused on helping local municipal shelters by placing at-risk dogs into loving foster homes. In August 2020, Hudson Haven relocated to Puerto Rico to tackle the staggering stray dog crisis, where approximately 500,000 dogs roam the streets.
Through spay/neuter initiatives and community education, Hudson Haven aims to improve the lives of both pets and people.
