Our Story
Founded in 1991 by County Executive Robert C. Janiszewski and community leaders, the Hudson County Housing Resource Center, Inc. (HRC) has dedicated itself to serving the most vulnerable residents of Hudson County. With a focus on tenant rights and access to safe, affordable housing, HRC participates in the HUD Housing Counseling Program, offering free and confidential guidance through HUD-Certified Housing Counselors.

Since its inception, HRC has successfully provided safe and affordable housing to over 1,100 families, significantly preventing homelessness and enhancing housing stability for low-income residents.
