Founded in 1995 by the Hudson City School District, Hudson Community First was created to combat negative behaviors among students, particularly related to drugs and alcohol. The organization has evolved significantly since its inception, especially after the hiring of co-directors in 2004, and now boasts over 250 members dedicated to fostering positive youth development.
Hudson Community First serves over 6,000 youth in Hudson, helping the community earn recognition as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People.
