Our Story

Founded in 1976, Hubbard House is Florida's first domestic violence shelter, created by passionate volunteers. Initially a small refuge for abused women and their children, it has evolved to serve over 5,000 individuals annually, offering comprehensive services that include emergency shelter, outreach, education, and advocacy.

In its 48-year history, Hubbard House has answered over 139,000 hotline calls and supported more than 159,500 survivors and their children, making a significant difference in the local community.
