Our Story
Founded in 1996, Howe Community Resource Center began as a small parent resource room at Howe School. Recognizing the need for a larger space, community stakeholders worked tirelessly to secure a permanent location. In 2000, a former AAA building was transformed into a thriving center for community support. Over the years, programs flourished, including the establishment of a state-of-the-art dental clinic in 2007, providing essential care to underinsured children. By 2009, the center became a gateway agency for The Community Partnership for Children, expanding its parenting programs. Celebrating 20 years of service in 2016 and honoring award-winning staff in 2017, the center continues to be a beacon of hope for families in Brown County.
