Founded in the late 1960s, the Houston International Seafarers Center is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for seafarers visiting the Port of Houston. With a mission to serve the spiritual, social, and physical needs of seafarers from around the globe, the center has positively impacted over a million lives.

Impact on Seafarers

In 2022 alone, the center visited over 4,500 ships, offering essential services to seafarers from more than 72 countries, significantly enhancing their well-being during their time in port.
