Our Story

The Houston Bar Association Auxiliary (HBAA) was founded in 1947 by a dedicated group of women lawyers. This organization aims to support the Houston Bar Association while fostering social relations among its members. Over the years, HBAA has expanded its reach through various service projects and community engagement initiatives, including the popular annual Chili and Pie Cook-off.

Our Impact

HBAA has made significant strides in the community by organizing numerous service projects, such as building homes with Habitat for Humanity and running educational programs like the 'Do the Write Thing' essay competition for middle school students. These initiatives have positively influenced both the local community and the legal profession.
