Our Story

Founded by Abie and Lorie Perkins, Housing Our Veterans emerged from a desire to support veterans in need. After taking a Financial Foundations class in 2005, they turned Lorie's dream of a recovery house into reality, establishing eleven homes dedicated to helping veterans rebuild their lives.

Impact

Housing Our Veterans has successfully provided stable housing for 67 veterans, enabling them to secure jobs and access vital community resources. The organization now offers 24-hour response services and weekly assessments for new clients.
