Our Story

The Housing Land Trust of the North Bay (HLT) was established in February 2002 as a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to serving Sonoma and Napa counties. HLT's mission is to provide home ownership opportunities to low- and moderate-income families while ensuring permanent housing affordability through the Community Land Trust model. This innovative approach allows HLT to own real estate that benefits the local community, making land and housing accessible to those who cannot afford them.
