Founded in 1993 by passionate rabbit enthusiasts, House Rabbit Resource Network (HRRN) is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating domestic rabbits. Starting as a foster-based rescue, HRRN opened a no-kill shelter in Pflugerville, Texas, in 2009, providing a safe haven for up to 200 rabbits.

In 2023, HRRN successfully rescued and adopted out 163 rabbits, ensuring they received essential medical care and support. The organization has played a crucial role in educating the public about responsible rabbit care, significantly reducing the number of abandoned rabbits in Central Texas.
