Our Story

Born in Ethiopia, Kokeb and Menalu Gedamu's journey is a testament to faith and resilience. Fleeing the communist uprising, they faced perilous challenges through Sudan before finally making their way to Israel. In Israel, Kokeb served as Senior Pastor for six Ethiopian Messianic Jewish Congregations, nurturing a vibrant community. Their mission continues in Jerusalem, where they established Amud HaEsh (Pillar of Fire) Congregation, focusing on the second Ethiopian generation.
