Our Story

House of Hope began as a grassroots initiative in the late 1990s, driven by healthcare workers who identified the urgent need for safe housing for young mothers. This effort blossomed into a collaborative mission with various community organizations, culminating in the establishment of a shelter in 2000. Over the years, House of Hope has expanded its services, including a youth hall and a 24-hour drop-in center for young people facing housing instability.

Impact

Each year, House of Hope opens doors to self-sufficiency for over 1,000 individuals experiencing homelessness, empowering them to become confident, independent, and successful members of the community.
