Our Story

The House of Hope for Recovery began in 1959 when George Connor opened his service station to provide shelter for men struggling with alcoholism. This compassionate initiative led to the establishment of a dedicated rehabilitation center by the Columbus Area Council on Alcoholism. Over the decades, the organization has evolved, expanding its services to include outpatient treatment and recovery residences, and rebranding as House of Hope for Recovery in 2022.

Impact

Since its inception, House of Hope has been a beacon of hope for individuals facing substance use disorders, offering comprehensive treatment programs and support services that empower them to thrive in recovery.
