Our Story

The House DC was founded in 1999 through conversations among diverse church leaders aiming to achieve racial healing and outreach to vulnerable teens in Washington, DC. It became an independent 501(c)(3) organization in 2003, focusing on transforming and empowering at-risk youth and their families in Anacostia.

Impact

The House DC has a nearly 100% graduation rate for high school seniors participating in its programs, significantly impacting the lives of at-risk youth by providing them with essential services and support.
