About Hospitality House

Opened on February 14, 2002, Hospitality House began its journey in a small space provided by the Walled Lake First Baptist Church. Initially assisting around 200 families in its first year, the pantry quickly outgrew its location and moved to a temporary facility. By late 2007, a larger space was secured, allowing for an expanded offering of fresh and frozen foods. In November 2015, Hospitality House relocated to its current 8000 sq. ft. facility, enabling the organization to serve nearly 850 households twice each month.

Impact on the Community

By 2023, Hospitality House distributes nearly 70,000 pounds of food each month, significantly alleviating food insecurity in the community.
