Founded in 1983, Hospitality Homes was the first program of its kind in the nation, inspired by Doris Jones' struggle to find affordable housing while seeking medical care for her child in Boston. This led to a compassionate network of volunteers dedicated to providing housing for families in need during medical treatment.

In 2023, Hospitality Homes provided thousands of nights of housing to patients and their families, significantly reducing the financial burden of medical treatment by offering safe and affordable accommodations during their care in Boston.
