Our Story

Founded in 1982 by two visionary sisters in Sun City, California, Hospice of the Valleys emerged from a heartfelt recognition of the need for specialized end-of-life care. Initially a volunteer-run organization, it has grown into a full-service nonprofit, dedicated to providing loving hospice care to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. With a team of experienced clinicians and dedicated volunteers, Hospice of the Valleys continues to touch the lives of patients and families in Southwest Riverside County and Fallbrook.

Impact

Hospice of the Valleys proudly holds a 5-star rating, distinguishing itself as the only hospice out of 139 in the service area to achieve this honor. This recognition places it among the top five hospice programs out of 300 in California, and the only 5-star hospice in all of Southern California.
