Founded over 35 years ago by community advocates Susan Landreaux and Lindy Lawrence, Hospice of Texarkana emerged from a heartfelt need for compassionate end-of-life care in the Texarkana area. Motivated by personal experiences, they, along with the Junior League of Texarkana, established the first hospice in the region, addressing the challenges families face during this difficult time.
Since its inception, Hospice of Texarkana has provided essential support to thousands of patients and families, earning a strong reputation for compassionate care. The organization has expanded its services to include the Hospice of Texarkana Foundation and Palliative Care of Texarkana, ensuring comprehensive support for the community.
