Horizon Services, originally known as Horizon House, has been a beacon of hope in the Bay Area for over 40 years. Established in 1976 with a modest contract from Alameda County, the organization began by providing sober living support for men reentering the workforce. Over the decades, Horizon Services has expanded its reach to include women, youth, and the LGBTQ community, offering comprehensive programs that address both substance use and mental health challenges.
