Our Story
Hope Shines was founded in 2007 by April Riegler after witnessing the struggles of poverty in Kigali, Rwanda. This nonprofit organization aims to address the overwhelming issue of poverty that has persisted since the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. By focusing on Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC), Hope Shines provides essential support through education and health initiatives.
