Our Story
In 2014, the opioid epidemic deeply affected New Hampshire, prompting health care professionals Dr. Colene Arnold and Kerry Norton, RN, to take action. Inspired by the story of a young mother, Abi Lizotte, they founded Hope on Haven Hill in 2016 to provide a nurturing residential program for pregnant women battling substance use disorders. Following Abi's tragic passing in 2018, the organization expanded its mission by opening Abi's Place in 2019, offering recovery housing for mothers dedicated to sobriety and their children.
Impact
Hope on Haven Hill has created a safe haven for pregnant women, enabling them to recover while caring for their children. The organization has broadened its services to include outpatient programs and recovery housing, significantly transforming the lives of mothers and their families.
