Hope of the Valley

Our Story

Founded in 2009, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission started as a small ministry at San Pablo Lutheran Church in Sun Valley. Volunteers served hot meals to those in need, and over the years, the mission has expanded its services to include shelters, recovery programs, and thrift stores, becoming a leading provider of housing and homeless services in California.

Impact

Hope of the Valley has provided 945,350 nights of shelter, 4,855 medical and mental health referrals, 2,836,050 hot meals, and 1,772,075 hot showers, significantly impacting the lives of those experiencing homelessness.
