Founded in 1988, HopeNet began as a collaboration of four faith-based organizations to combat hunger in Los Angeles. Starting with a food pantry in Koreatown, it has grown to operate a network of 12 pantries, partnering with local congregations and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to distribute food efficiently.
In 2022, HopeNet distributed over 3.2 million pounds of food, serving more than 261,000 individuals, significantly alleviating food insecurity in the Metro Los Angeles area.
