Hope + Future

Our Story

Hope + Future began its journey in the Fall of 2010, operating from the Jose Marti Freshman Academy and the Hudson County Youth Detention Center. The organization was founded to foster positive growth in young people, ensuring they have the tools for forward mobility in their lives. The program, known as Flight Club, quickly gained traction, encouraging pre-teens and teens to engage in energetic workouts focused on leadership and personal development.

Impact

Through various programs including athletic training, mentoring clubs, and health education, Hope + Future has significantly improved the lives of its participants. On average, students have increased their academic scores by nearly 10%, while disciplinary issues have decreased by over 45%!
