Our Story
Teddy Namugenyi, the founder of Hope for Orphans Uganda, faced immense challenges in her childhood after losing her mother to AIDS. Raised by a relative, she completed her education and felt a deep calling to support vulnerable children in her community. In 2010, she began her mission by renting a property in Luweero, where she opened her heart and home to orphans, providing them with shelter, food, and education. Over the years, the organization has grown, now supporting 62 children, ensuring they have a safe environment to thrive.
