Hope for Honduras

Our Story

Hope for Honduras, Inc. was founded by Ron and Shelley Jones, who dedicated their lives to serving the impoverished communities of Honduras. After adopting two sons from Honduras, they began their mission by distributing food and offering basic medical care in the streets of Mogote. Over 21 years, their efforts have blossomed into two Hope Centers: the original in Colonia Nueva España and a second in Colonia Jose Trinidad Cabañas. These centers now provide education, medical assistance, and spiritual support to countless families.
