Our Story
Micler and Rosiane Louis, once successful business owners in South Florida, felt a divine calling to return to their roots on La Gonâve, Haiti. Growing up as refugees, they established a church, school, and home for children in need, naming it Bethesda, meaning "House of Mercy." Since then, Hope for Bethesda has dedicated itself to addressing the urgent needs of the local community.
One of the most pressing issues in La Gonâve is the lack of clean water. By bringing well-drilling equipment to the region, Hope for Bethesda aims to provide a sustainable water source, improving health, food production, and overall quality of life. This initiative not only meets a basic need but also creates opportunities for the love of God and the Good News of Christ to flourish.
