Our Story

Founded in 1975 by Sr. Dorothy Thompson, OSU, the Hope Emergency Program began as a small initiative to collect food and clothing for the impoverished. After several relocations, the program found its home in Fayetteville, Ohio, where it has flourished under the leadership of Sr. Marjean Clement, OSU since 1995. Today, it serves over 250 families weekly, providing vital resources to those facing hardships.

Impact

Hope Emergency distributes food and clothing to an average of 250 families each week, with special holiday distributions reaching hundreds more. The program has expanded significantly, demonstrating a commitment to alleviating hunger and providing support during personal disasters.
