Hope Dental Clinic

Our Story

In 1965, the Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities initiated a vital ministry to deliver dental care to those in need. Spearheaded by Dr. Dale Jacobsen, along with students from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and local dentists, the first clinic opened in the basement of the Bethel Hotel in downtown St. Paul. Over the years, the clinic has evolved, but its unwavering mission to serve the community has remained constant. In January 2018, it proudly became an independent nonprofit organization, Hope Dental Clinic, celebrating five years of dedicated service.
