Our Story
Hope Clinic of Garland, Inc. began in 2002 as a ministry of First Baptist Garland, initiated by two compassionate church members who recognized the urgent need for primary healthcare among indigent and uninsured residents. Over the years, the demand for these essential services grew, prompting the clinic to relocate to a larger facility in 2007 and achieve 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. In partnership with Baylor Scott-White Health system since 2009, Hope Clinic has evolved into a vital safety net for patients, collaborating with various medical networks and specialty practices to ensure comprehensive care. Today, this 5400 sq. ft. clinic operates in a residential area near downtown Garland, facilitating approximately 8,000 patient visits each year.
