Hope Builders Ministries (HBM) was born from a divine calling in 1984, initiated by four dedicated men working with Open Doors in Southern Africa. The ministry began with Project Timothy, aimed at addressing the severe shortage of pastors in Mozambique, a country ravaged by civil war and poverty. Over the years, this initiative evolved into the Timothy Training Institute, which has since expanded its reach across multiple African and Asian nations.

Today, HBM focuses on equipping indigenous leaders in rural areas, providing them with the necessary training and resources to effectively share the Gospel within their communities. Since its establishment in the U.S. in 2001, HBM has successfully planted over 11,000 village churches and enrolled 25,000 pastoral leaders in a comprehensive three-year training program.

Impacting Communities

Through the Bibles for Disciples program, nearly 600,000 Bibles have been distributed, many in local languages, empowering faithful disciples. Additionally, the Dignity Projects have provided thousands of orphans with essential care and support, while equipping widows to nurture these children.
