Our Story

Hope 4 Kids International was founded by Tom Eggum, who began his journey of compassion and action in a college classroom. Inspired by the struggles of those behind the Iron Curtain, he smuggled Bibles into the Soviet Union until his arrest by the KGB. Undeterred, he continued his mission by delivering essential supplies to those in need in Communist China and Vietnam. This unwavering commitment led to the establishment of H4KI, which has been dedicated to serving impoverished children and families for over 50 years.
