Our Story

Founded in February 2015, Hoover Helps emerged from community discussions aimed at combating food insecurity among children in Hoover. This family and volunteer-driven organization collaborates with 13 faith-based partners to provide essential food and support to local families in need.

Impact

In 2021, Hoover Helps delivered over $80,463 in food and support, significantly aiding local food pantries and initiatives like the Meals in Motion Food Bus, which distributed over 78,000 lunches.
