About Hoosier Cancer Research Network

Founded in 1984, Hoosier Cancer Research Network, formerly known as Hoosier Oncology Group, was established by a dedicated group of community-based oncologists and faculty from the Indiana University Cancer Center. The mission is to unite academic and community physicians to develop cancer trials that address the specific needs of the community.

With over 250 clinical trials conducted and more than 10,000 subjects enrolled, Hoosier Cancer Research Network has made significant strides in cancer research. Collaborating with over 100 academic and community clinical research sites across the United States, the network has produced over 350 publications, contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment and patient care.
