Hooks for Heroes

Our Story

Hooks for Heroes is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity based in New York, founded by a US Marine Veteran, a former NYPD Police Officer, and a current FDNY firefighter. This organization was born from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by American Veterans and First Responders. Passionate about fishing, Hooks for Heroes offers therapeutic fishing trips to help these heroes cope with the physical and mental injuries they endure during their service. By providing a day on the water, we aim to create a healing environment where they can relax and enjoy the thrill of catching "The Big One."
