Our Story

The Honorable Character initiative began in 1984 with a young boy named Brad, who faced challenges in understanding his classmates. With the support of his mother, Vicki Vaughn, who became principal, a new classroom management model was introduced. This model focused on recognizing positive character traits, helping students like Brad thrive. Today, Brad is a successful cardiothoracic anesthesiologist, crediting his achievements to the character-building principles instilled in him.

A thirty-year observational study shows that students educated with Honorable Character consistently outperform their peers in standardized tests.
