Honor Flight Central Florida

Our Story

Honor Flight Central Florida is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure. Established in 2012, this organization is a registered HUB of the national Honor Flight Network, created to honor America’s veterans for their sacrifices. The organization transports veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to their service at no cost to them, prioritizing senior veterans and those who are terminally ill.

Impact

Since its inception, Honor Flight Central Florida has flown over 1000 Central Florida veterans to Washington, D.C. to honor them for their service, contributing to the national total of over 295,000 veterans flown by the Honor Flight Network.
